For candidates
Your Next Career Move Starts Here
Send us your CV once and a recruiter who works in your sector matches it against the roles our clients are hiring for now, positions you to the hiring manager, and stays with it through to your joining date.
Submit your CV
Send it once. We will keep you in mind.
Two minutes, and it reaches the recruiter who covers your sector rather than a general inbox. We read every CV that comes in and respond within one business day, even when the answer is that we do not have a fit at the moment.
PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB. Prefer email? Send your CV to info@marsconsultancy.in.
How we place you
What does the process actually look like?
Five stages from the CV you send us to the day you join. At every one of them you are told where things stand, including when the answer is not the one you wanted.
Most roles close within 7–30 days of being briefed to us.
We read your CV against live mandates
Your CV goes to the recruiter who covers your sector, not to a general inbox, and is matched against the roles our clients are recruiting for right now rather than filed for someday.
What you know at this point: Whether we have something live for your profile, and if not, what we typically see for it.
A briefing call before anything moves
Fifteen minutes on what you actually want next: the function, the CTC you are targeting, how far you are willing to travel, and what would make you turn a role down. This is what we match on.
What you know at this point: The company, the role, the CTC band and the interview structure, before your CV goes anywhere.
Your profile is positioned, not forwarded
We put your CV in front of the hiring manager with a recommendation attached, explaining the parts of your experience that fit the mandate. That is the difference between a portal application and a shortlist.
What you know at this point: Exactly which companies are seeing your profile, because each one needs your go-ahead first.
You are prepared for the interview
Who is on the panel, how many rounds, what that employer probes hardest, and how they have received similar profiles before. We schedule the rounds and chase the feedback so you are not left guessing.
What you know at this point: The outcome of each round, with the panel's actual feedback rather than a polite silence.
Offer, notice period and joining
We take the offer discussion to the employer on your behalf, work through counter-offers and notice-period negotiation, and stay with it through BGV and joining formalities. Most roles close within 7–30 days of briefing.
What you know at this point: Where the offer stands at every point, and what the employer will and will not move on.
Before you send it
How do you make your CV work harder?
Six things our recruiters wish more CVs did. None takes longer than ten minutes, and all six change how quickly you get a call.

Put CTC and notice period on page one
Current CTC, expected CTC and notice period, near the top. A recruiter cannot match you to a band they have to guess at, and a CV without them slows down every conversation that follows.
Use real numbers
Team size, portfolio value, units per shift, tickets closed, target against achievement. “Handled operations” says nothing; “ran a 14-member back-office team processing 900 files a month” is the same sentence with evidence in it.
Keep it to two pages
The first half of the first page is read properly and the rest is skimmed. Put your current role, your achievements in it and your qualifications there, and keep the older history brief.
Explain gaps in one line
A break for study, family, health or a company shutting down is normal and rarely counts against you. An unexplained eighteen-month gap invites the panel to invent their own reason.
Name the file properly
Rahul_Sharma_Relationship_Manager.pdf, not resume_final_v3.pdf. Yours is one of many in a folder, and the name is what a hiring manager sees first.
Send a PDF
PDF keeps your formatting intact wherever it is opened. Send Word only when a specific employer asks for it, and never send a link that needs a sign-in to view.
Working with us
What can you expect from us?
You are never charged, at any stage
Mars Consultancy is paid by the companies that hire, never by the candidates we place. No registration fee, no resume-writing fee, no interview confirmation charge, nothing after you join. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us.
Your CV moves only when you say so
It is shared with a client for a specific role, after we have spoken to you about that role. You always know which companies are looking at your profile.
Your current employer is never approached
Name the organisations you want kept out of the conversation and they stay out of it. Senior searches are confidential from the first call.
You get an answer either way
Including the unwelcome one. If we have nothing that fits, we say so instead of leaving you waiting, and your profile stays with us for roles that open later.
FAQs
Questions candidates ask us
Not answered here? Write to info@marsconsultancy.in and a recruiter will reply.
What happens after I submit my CV?
It goes to the recruiter who covers your sector, who reads it against the roles our clients are recruiting for now. If something matches, they call you to discuss the company, the role and the CTC band before your CV is shared with anyone. If nothing matches today, we keep your profile for roles that open later.
How long does it take to hear back, and to get placed?
We aim to respond within one business day of receiving your CV. Placement depends on what our clients are hiring for and on your notice period; once a role is briefed to us, most close within 7 to 30 days from first shortlist to offer.
How is this better than applying on a job portal myself?
On a portal your CV joins several hundred others and is filtered before a person sees it. Through us it reaches the hiring manager with a recommendation attached and context on why you fit, and you are told the CTC band, the panel and the interview structure before you decide to go forward.
Will my CV be sent to my current employer?
No. Your CV is shared with a client only for a specific role and only after we have spoken to you about it, so you always know which companies are seeing your profile. If there are organisations you do not want approached, tell your recruiter and they are blocked.
Do you charge candidates any fee?
No. Mars Consultancy is paid by the companies that hire, never by the candidates we place. There is no registration fee, no resume-writing fee, no interview confirmation charge and nothing payable after you join. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us.
Which cities and locations do you recruit for?
We work on roles across India and with companies in the UAE. A large share of the roles we have filled are in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, including the Thane–Ghodbunder belt, the Vashi–Belapur corridor and the western suburbs. If you are open to relocating, say so on your CV: a good share of our mandates outside Maharashtra go unfilled for want of candidates who will move.
I am a fresher. Is it still worth sending my CV?
Yes. A good share of our volume hiring is entry level, particularly in contact centre, field sales, retail and back-office operations, where employers hire in batches and take candidates with no prior experience. Send your CV and mention that you are open to entry-level roles.
Do you guarantee a job or an interview?
No, and you should be cautious of any consultancy that does. What we can do is put your profile in front of hiring managers with a recommendation attached and prepare you properly for the interview. The hiring decision belongs to the employer, and whether a suitable role exists depends on what our clients are recruiting for at the time.
How do I update my CV or ask you to delete my details?
Email info@marsconsultancy.in from the address you applied with. Send a new CV and we replace the old one; ask us to delete your details and we remove them from our database.
